  • I was already as a child and am still excited. Very beautiful and varied garden scenery. Guests have here the manifold possibilities to the relaxing, walking, playing games, or to discover the flora and fauna.

  • Beautiful big park in the South of Berlin. Depending on the season, there are special issues (such as Tulipan or dahlia fire) and in summer also evenings with music and Fireworks. There are also several lakes, playgrounds and different gastronomic offers. Cheaper admission 2 euros.

  • I won't say it's the best garden/park in Berlin, but it has its own beauty.. Best time to go in end of April.. when the weather is a bit warm.. You can bring your own play boat, to enjoy sailing it in the big lake inside the garden... The best attraction are the Tulips.. The variety and beauty can easily be compared with the Amsterdam tulip garden.. only thing is it's 4 times cheaper than the Amsterdam one.. :).. 4 euro is the entry fee, and no Student discount.. you can get a seasonal ticket with 15 euro..
  • One of the nicest parks in this part of the city. Here kids can meet goats, donkeys and sheeps, observe beehives and play on huge playgrounds. If you're not interested into animals, you can enjoy nice garden, see concerts on a big scene or take a long walk. Several restaurants and bars available in the park. Entry costs 2 Eur for adults and 1 for Kids.
  • Despite the money you have to pay in order to get in there, it's one of the best parks in Berlin. Clean, tons of flowers and plants, you can see foxes and squirrels and its huuuge. The lake is also pretty nice but I would avoid the bar-restaurant located there. Quite pricey and it doesn't worth it.
  • I love it so much it's not expensive but I would like if they can allow people with Berliner pass. It was amazing it's heaven on earth
  • Lovely place for a day out with the family. It has a good variety of gardens and green spaces, play areas and kiosks with basic snacks.

Where to stay in Berlin

The Kreuzberg neighborhood near the Oberbaumbrüke bridge is central and full of Berlin icons: street art, a piece of the Berlin Wall, the East Side Gallery, and a proliferation of cafes. Friedrichshain is another option with a hip vibe due to the students who congregate at its cafes and galleries. Consider Mitte as a historic home base. Mitte is the area where almost all of Berlin's well-known buildings are located, and it is within walking distance of Alexanderplatz. For a peaceful residential area, try Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf where the streets are lined with boutiques and quiet coffee shops.
