Piercing the sky above the Berlin trade center, Berliner Funkturm is a radio tower constructed between 1924 and 1926. The tower stopped broadcasting in 1989 and is now used to decorate the trade center grounds. Visit the observation deck on the top of the tower for a panoramic view of Berlin. Beneath it, a fine dining restaurant offers a view of its own. Put Berliner Funkturm into our Berlin vacation planner to see other points of interest to visit during your vacation in Berlin.

  • Yes the radio tower is of course a beautiful view, the wait times were long but that it was also worth, a great view of the entire city

  • Visit the radio tower is worth to enjoy the great views of the surprisingly green city of Berlin. Certainly he not as centrally located as the TV Tower on Alexanderplatz, but this other perspective is a nice change, which is mainly in the evening.

  • Went on Sunday morning about 10:30 a.m. When we got to the entrance where we were told the platform for the tower was closed and we couldn't go up to look out. What a shame.
