Berlin Hauptbahnhof, Berlin
(3.8/5 based on 2,000+ reviews on the web)
Designed as a high-tech station for a newly reunified city, Berlin Hauptbahnhof serves more than 300,000 passengers daily. You can arrive via a short trip on the metro from the city center or from the airport on a special transit train. An 85 by 120 m (297 by 39 ft) glass ceiling enhances the main concourse's oval shape. You can browse an extensive selection of stores and cafes in the main halls. Of course, you'll find plenty of areas to watch some of the more than 1,800 daily trains pull in. This is the place to be if you want to head to almost any point in Germany. Berlin Hauptbahnhof is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our custom trip planner, Berlin Edition.

  • I was visited in Berlin and I was driving a U-Bahn or underground here and there. For your interest in the Vancouver Grizzlies also went to the main railway station. The impressive complex. Tracks going in many different floor. A wide variety of shops in hotel was a lot. Christmas lights and other decorations on the molivat.

  • Modern steel-and-glass train station, several floors with escalators and elevators, everything is simple and clear, you can go to anywhere in Germany. Shops, bars, cafes ... Our hotel was located close to the station, so a daily tourist route begins from here. Struck by the accuracy of time schedules and commuter trains. Although the Reichstag-there is not much the people and crush))

  • It is a miracle of the German technology! It is a modern building, full of metal and glass. Also we are impressed from the huge number of the trains that we had seen in the station. We travelled many ...  more »

  • Even if it's a youth hostel, it's really clean. The shower are furnished with soap and towel. You can also lost the sheets which is nice. But do not expect to have a peaceful night, the wall are paper thin and there's a bunch of teens doing what teens do best. But for the price you can't really be wrong.
  • stayed two times, in a family room and in dorm room. Always nice to stay here, but a bit far if you walk. It is better to catch a bus from central station, because the bus stop is nearby the hotel.easy.
  • Nice room, good location, staff helpful when needed, they have everything you need, but there were some young people who make noise, but i believe this is because of the school holidays
  • We usually have the Polyglot Gathering here, and it's always a big success thanks to how close it is to the station and the impeccable facilities of the accomodation.
  • Worst hostel I have been in my life. Feel like a meatpack in a butchery. Staff non helpful and very limited... Expensive for what it is. Went there because of no choice, but that was the only time.
