Observation Deck
Get a bird's-eye view of Berlin from the top of Bar 203 in Berlin TV Tower, the highest point in the city. A symbol of Berlin since it was erected in the 1960s, this is the tallest structure in Germany. The tower is 368 m (1,207 ft) tall, with an observation deck 204 m (670 ft) above ground. Try to time your visit for a sunny day, as thick fog can obscure the view from the top on overcast days. You can wait for the morning mist to clear at the tower's rotating restaurant, which spins 360 degrees in just under 30 minutes. The tower welcomes nearly 1.5 million tourists each year, so be prepared for a long wait at the entrance. You can avoid standing in line by booking a fixed date and time of your visit on the tower's website. • We had booked tickets from home. It started with 2 different queues at the entrance. Then we came in. Up a flight of stairs. Each different queues again?!?! Now it was time for shooting in front of a greenscren? Why is this mandatory? Then it got 2 different queues again. And very bad information who should stand in the queue. Then after 20 minutes. Queue to security control. After the 2 different queues to the elevator. No information here either. But very hot and poor air quality. In the end, we came up. Stunning views. Good and clear information on all places of interest in all directions, then it was time to try and go down, only to stand in line again. A visit lasts. Take with water if it is so bad air and queues a Tuesday in april so I fear how daylight savings time is in effect. Abysmal with information and structure of queue system. Stunning views.

  • My husband and I went here at night and bought a skip the line ticket online only to find out there was no line that late at night. If you want to skip the line, head over around 10:30 pm and don't bu...  more »
  • Worth a visit if you have time. The view is beautiful. But if you can prioritize the historical sites.

  • You heave some STUPID employers at your tower. Today i asked if i can take pictures from the tower using a TRIPOD, the cashier said YES. Now i want to get in the tower and the security man doesn't let me in with my tripod. Ho pays my bus ticket now? WORST THAN POOR
  • Big, reasonable amount of seating, but probably the slowest McDs I've been to. It knows itself and suitable for short visits. Delicious food and Nice staff.

  • Must you've necessarily done. Relax with coffee and cake or a good lunch look a round of Berlin. The food is good, the staff is friendly. A reservation for a table by the window is recommended for the restaurant. Otherwise you're just 'second row' physically handicapped people can for security reasons (in case of emergency the elevator does not boot and it goes down the stairs) are rejected by the security personnel.
