  • I visited here straight after the zoo. Although the aquarium is quite small there are three floors and plenty of exhibits. I had bought my ticket online so was ushered through quite quickly. Access to...  more »
  • Arriving at the opening, little world. A very pleasant quality of wildlife, watershed management and outstanding maintenance of those - here. Upstairs, good organization of terrariums and a lot of respect for the living environment of the animals.

  • We enjoy this place so much. The only one thing if you are with baby in stroller and entering from street side there is lift only for wheelchairs and you have to pick up your stroller for few stairs but inside lift is allowed for everyone thank God 😅 just be prepared if there is a lot people using it you can wait about 15-20 mins to get where you want ;)
  • We were here 16 years ago and it hasn't changed much from what I can remember. The kids enjoyed it for a while but it's over priced. It's the same the zoo and you could easily get around the whole place in 2 hours. The ground floor is poorly designed and people get up bottle necked in one area.
  • Beautiful zoo. The monkey enclosure was great. It was fascinating watching them I could of stayed all day
  • My visit today was awesome never have I see an aquarium so big and magnificent.
  • Definitely buy the combo ticket. The zoo is better but the aquarium was good. Its no Monterey Bay Aquarium or Georgia Aquarium heck its not even as good as the New England Aquarium.

Where to stay in Berlin

The Kreuzberg neighborhood near the Oberbaumbrüke bridge is central and full of Berlin icons: street art, a piece of the Berlin Wall, the East Side Gallery, and a proliferation of cafes. Friedrichshain is another option with a hip vibe due to the students who congregate at its cafes and galleries. Consider Mitte as a historic home base. Mitte is the area where almost all of Berlin's well-known buildings are located, and it is within walking distance of Alexanderplatz. For a peaceful residential area, try Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf where the streets are lined with boutiques and quiet coffee shops.
