  • The imposing and majestic new residence stands in front of the splendid cathedral almost wrapping it. This "new" baroque residence housed the Prince-Bishops of Bamberg. The staircase leading to the rooms of palazzo portends what wonder will open our eyes crossed the threshold of the Palace. The frescoes, stucco, the decorations, the ori, the drapes, precious furnishings, original parquet inlaid with art, chandeliers, paintings, bedroom and even the comfortable, everything is precious! Everything! Including the Rosengarten (rose garden) and its incomparable view of Michaelsberg.

  • Circumventing the prohibition of citizens, the Bishop he built little by little this splendid Palace, triumph of the Baroque. The Gallery can be visited freely (notice the paintings by Canaletto and other Italian artists), while in the Episcopal apartments there is a guided tour (bilingual) every 20-30 minutes (called the guides). A splendid place and rich in history and art.
