Bamberger Dom, Bamberg
Categories: Sacred & Religious Sites, Churches, Tourist Spots
Marking the heart of the city is Bamberger Dom--also known as Cathedral Hill and the home of the Imperial Cathedral of St. Peter and George. Choose from four tours and be ready to be impressed with its altitude on top of one of the seven hills of Bamberg. Dating back more than a millennium to the reign of Holy Roman Emperor Henry II, the Gothic/Romanesque cathedral contains the grave of Pope Clement II. The Bamberg Horseman, an intricate equestrian statue by an unknown artist, is also worth a look. To visit Bamberger Dom on your trip to Bamberg, use our Bamberg vacation trip planner.

Stayed here in July 2014, on the upper floor. Great location. Easy walk to all attractions. Limited car parking, but we were looked by staff after and never had difficulties. Room was great with restricted views. Would happily stay there again.
Christine is a fantastic host providing a warm and authentic welcome to her hotel. Hotel is centrally located in the heart of Bamberg close to beautiful scenery the city is famous for. You will not be disappointed.
Harry HarryPrice performance does not match. Lives of location. Not really parking in the yard neighbors, €7. Cumbersome parking. Rooms without air-conditioning.show original
Stefan WohlfeilMs. Bosch is a beautiful hotel. But for the price, some things have bothered me. Not good dark curtains. No mini bar, only a refrigerator on the stairwell with water or cheap juice in plastic bottles. An Ultra mini TV in the room. From the large and beautiful breakfast room, you could do so much more. Why no snacks or food for later hours? The place is there yet. The bed is much too narrow and uncomfortable. Had back pain every morning :-(show original
Cp RPrivately, hospitable House - located in the old town. A dream. Would I stay again.show original
