  • A charming Cafe with delicious cakes to the stay a. An experience is to drink coffee on the castle terrace in fine weather. Besides the coffee drink can you beautiful gifts at the Castle Café purchase. There are also very nice rooms to celebrate festivals

  • We have twice visited the castle in early February and were really excited. Proudly, it presides over bad Wildungen, so that one has a magnificent view of the city. To reach the castle on foot or by bike from the city via a short steep climb or of course by car. The Museum is very "weapon" and shows all kinds of thrusting and cutting firearms of times long gone. You can learn but also much of the history of the area, which was very interesting. The Museum is also suitable for children. It is exciting to discover new exhibits in ever-changing winding rooms, and to dive in the time of Knights and manageable. From the area in which a movement is set up, you have a wonderful view in all directions, insofar as he is not tarnished by dirty windowpanes in the truest sense of the word. The Café in the castle may be mentioned. The cake is world class! I recommend gooseberry pie and the blue room.

  • Worth a visit for the admission to the Museum. More regional background would be nice. Certainly not exciting for children.

  • A great Museum, which although somewhat hieb - and weapon stubs-heavy, offers many interesting information around the area. Also the small cafe is very recommended. Wonderful cakes and a very friendly service invite to linger there. They reached the castle of bad Wildungen from drive. There are plenty of parking spaces. But it is also walking for only a relatively short ascent of maybe 20 - 30 minutes from the old town.

  • The castle is beautifully decorated and very informative. For a few euros, we got to a very beautiful exhibition about weapons see. This was spread out over several floors and modern epochs. The staff was very friendly and really stunning views. My highlight was the "Bell Tower". There is not always something. A visit is worthwhile in any case.

  • First the positives. The Café is highly recommended. Food and drinks are very good and priced perfectly okay. The view from the terrace on the Wildunger city is sensational. Small drawback, there is no operation. It is ordered at the box office and equal pay. To the Museum. Basically an interesting exhibition, which is unfortunately a bit in the years. Many exhibits with too little background information. Interactive features are completely missing. Therefore less to recommend for a family outing. The 3 Euro entrance fee are adequate. It was extremely negative to remember on this day that we already 20 minutes before closing friendly but determined that were pointed out, that we should now leave the Museum. The light at the bottom was already turned off... Conclusion: Cafe 5 stars, Museum 3 star.
