  • This park is about an hour and half drive from Berlin - it is beautiful - located in a forest. Right now they are building a nice new visitor's center which will be done later this year. There is ampl...  more »
  • Very nice facility, great Habitat for the bears. Very impressive, the "sense tunnel" at the beginning, to give an idea what the bears did with her "previous life". We were there in March and have seen 7 different bears, maybe even some hibernating were. (Many free) interactive join offers in the Park (not only) for children. There is also a playground. A new entrance area is scheduled to open in may 2017, offering among other things new activities for children (as an employee). Tips: - at the snack bar just outside of the Park (in the fish ponds) there are tasty fish rolls. -attract in wet weather boots - schedule half-day (3-4 hours without a playground may be less)

  • Nice and neat bears care. The animals have very much room to get their deserved old age here. Good for about half a day maybe in 1 day to do with the bisons reserve.

  • Super
  • Beautiful and spacious. The enclosures are large and beautifully designed. In addition to the animals, there are information about the resident bears and of course also to the behavior of this species everywhere. If already animals behind bars just so. It is of course no substitute to freedom, but a great environment for these beautiful animals with some very sad background. Way to go.

  • Highly recommended. There, the bears have a "good" life, much much better than any Zoo or even circus. Go several times a year there, and it's always nice to watch the bears as they enjoy their newly acquired freedom

  • As an organization seems really thought to make the animals. If you however want to look at the animals alone, you should visit the Park when not so good weather is. Then, fewer children with their stupid parents are present. At the entrance, a large sign with various rules of conduct is extra. But apparently there are lots of parents who are too stupid to bring up their children, or simply can not read. Sometimes, you have to stop "just to hold the fuck up" and not constantly around screaming. If you are interested in bears you can here but really experience a lot and get closer to the animals. A real attraction in the area.

  • A great attraction when you're in the area. You must have some patience at the beginning... but then you can experience the bears in their natural environment. There are many information boards, a central playground and many interesting and child-friendly experience stations. The price is fully justified.
