  • Great day spent walking through the 30+ open air farm houses, working shops, stables, town government house (rathaus), and outbuildings, including one of the electrical substations that you see across...  more »
  • We were on a monkey-hot day late May this museum village and had consequently completely for us alone. Too bad for the operators, I wish many visitors them every Sunday, it really is a beautiful plant. Four thatch-roofed rural / residential I liked best. I had imagined something exactly like that, as it was called: 'Museum village'. It is were really great, demolished in other places such as houses and rebuilt here. You learn a lot about life on the land in the region in the last three centuries; in particular, how hard it was. The diet, many of the works, high child mortality, life in the smallest space next door, etc. living animals we saw only three: three sheep. No word on when the other animals can be seen. Probably on topics days. What not so well liked, was the hodge-podge of "Old". A collection of old toys is certainly interesting, the workshop of a luthier, but she has no place in these houses for my taste. Here the former stables were converted: partially with partition walls, so that space was available for relevant content different, also interesting, but not in this House. But so is something naturally for everyone. Topics that do not interest, it misses stop faster. There ever enough to see. I found very good the price/performance ratio and also have plans to look on a topics Sunday once over there yet. I can really recommend this museum interested in history. For children, it is perhaps not so great in normal operation.

  • Spent a beautiful day in a vast and great landscaped open-air museum. Lovingly decorated half-timbered houses remind of bygone days in Upper Swabia. One can no longer imagine much. So nice that there is a place of memory.

  • Always great promotions are offered and even baked bread out of the baking Häusle is very tasty. Also, you can look at a few animals and go for a walk. Suitable for children and baby carriages, there is also a winding course and the toilets are clean. You can spend a few enjoyable hours, we like to come back!
