  • This was a really interesting museum which gave a glimpse of life in the ancient times. It was a unique experience because what I know from books sort of became alive because of the artifacts shown.  more »
  • Specially for children this museum is a must when beeing in the Ahr-Valley. Even the location is not really challenging, the details and history is thrilling.  more »
  • Can you imagine actually being able to walk on the same path as the Romans did? See how a Roman villa or inn functioned? This was an interesting look into the history, life, art and everyday life of t...  more »

  • Excellent exhibition of life during the Roman period and a few centuries after. The excavation of the villa and presentation of its building stages show in a fascinating way how the place adapted to the changing needs of the inhabitants. The roofing tiles with footprints of children and domestic animals were a delightul find, as were the other small finds. I would recommend a combi-ticket for the Roman Villa and the Government Bunker.
  • It's a bit difficult to find parking, especially if there's a school on a field trip. The museum with their excavations as well as the exhibited reproductions and explanations is well worth the trip. The staff is very friendly.
  • Nice
  • The Roman villa is a great student. Large parts of the base walls are still preserved. In the Villa you get at that time built up a good impression, like the houses goods. When you visit the Combi-ticket for the sightseeing of the Government bunker with buy best directly.
