  • From the outside already somewhat inconspicuous has here with great attention to the details of an old Roman estate excavated me and arranged for the visitors. On specified routes, it passes through the places. Well, mentioning that it is really "only" the remaining walls and not a good Wiederaufgebautes. However, to get here a great impression in the elapsed time and the life, by the brick production up to the games. You not spend a whole day here more, but there's plenty to see for a morning/afternoon.

  • For history buffs and explorers a successful attraction. The staff is very nice and accommodating and have succeeded in the presentation of the Roman villa. Is a true but also sad when you consider that you had heated floors 2000 years ago and destroyed by war and vandalism all these innovative discoveries.

  • The very well preserved remains of an impressive Roman country villa provide a very good insight into Roman architecture and culture. You can see remains of the impressive wall paintings and many of the interesting finds are displayed in the showcases. An informative film introduces very well in the tour. You should allow one to two hours for the visit. A parking lot is completely covered visit site right on the. Definitely worth the visit.

  • Wonderfully preserved remains of a Roman Villa, much to recommended Guide! My highlight: The lateral insight into the cavities of the underfloor heating. Attention: in the winter.

  • Interesting excavation. The leadership has been fun. Not very many private parking on site. For those interested, there is a combination ticket for the Government bunker documentation site.

  • Beautifully restored remains of a Roman "Villa Rustica" at the entrance of Ahrweiler, directly on the B267. The parking lot is located directly behind the bridge, the entrance to the Museum on the other side of the bridge the road. Very extensive excavation, very much recommended for those interested. Government bunker documentation site in 2 minutes by car or 10-12 minute walk on the (sometimes steep!). Combo tickets available.
