  • The castle of the eccentric Prince Pückler is located in Germany, much of the corresponding park in Poland. The Castle, ever in possession of one of the House of Orange, is in the second world war completely burnt out, but completely restored again. The park doesn't cost anything, the castle with a very nice exhibition on the creator of this grand park takes some, but the price is quite smoothly. With the splendid likewise by Pückler landscaped park in Cottbus, this is one of the most impressive parks in Europe. Unesco-heritage!

  • Our 1.Besuch in the Park around the Castle. A carriage ride incl. comments by the Coachman is recommended. Very good walkable distances, bicycles allowed free access to the Park.

  • The core of the Park is located around immediately to the two castles (old and New Castle), 2 minutes walking from the market square. I was out with the bike and am often cycled through one of two bridges across the Neisse River in the Polish part of the Park. While the German part is very flat, it is somewhat hilly in Poland. I guess that is the upper way about 40 m above the river Neiße. With a good gear, the pitch is not a problem - and the view is worth just in the morning, when the Sun is in the East. You can let themselves go with coaches through the park - or of course hiking or go for a walk.
