  • Rugged and steep the Rheingraf stone rises above bad Münster am Stein. The lovingly maintained remains of a Castle located on it. The highest point of the Rhine count stone is an observation deck that is on a tour of the mountain. The views of the wine bewachsende Nahe Valley, the Red Rock, the old tree Castle and the Ebernburg falls from her. It really is an impressive panorama that rewards for the very steep ascent. It starts but very romantic with a ferry ride with a hand-pulled ferry on the close. Rheingraf stone paths to hike through the forests invite long near and in the hinterland. It is an experience to enjoy this landscape and to enjoy again and again.

  • First of all: It's FREE. So is the little cable ferry that gets you across the Nahe. Once on the other side, it's a 20-30 minute uphill walk that is steep in some areas. Take your time! If in doubt ab...  more »
  • A very interesting Castle-fortress, located on a hill near the town of bad Münster! Thick walls, openings, which once contained guns to defend the fortress. Now in this castle hotel with a small number of rooms, restaurant, terrace with beautiful benches and huge well! Very beautiful! There is a direct path from bad Muenster by car, but we saw tourists who climbed the mountain on foot!

  • A beautiful hike through the nature leads to the ruins. There are different ways and when it has reached its destination you will be rewarded with a great view.
