  • The newly designed exhibition is full of information, very exaggerated "teen" to do so without. This means that the clear presentation you see in the foreground, there are no interactive stations and "What would you do" - queries. In some places, even criticism of decisions of the first Federal Chancellor is visible, so it's not pure jubilation aria. Also the clarity and the possibility to deepen certain aspects after own interests or to iterate quickly (or skip) is good. Overall, the exhibition is easy to deal with in an hour. There is a cafeteria area, mineral water is free, the coffee from the vending costs little and tastes like coffee from the self-service machines. The toilets were clean also one hour before closing. In our case though, friendly staff and helpful, but when half an hour before the closing already starts to close all the doors, chairs your way push, to clean up the cafeteria looks very listless. Since the visit to the House is however free, is to speculate that the personal circumstances is volunteers, that would explain the evening initiated in early. To the corresponding House of Adenauer's can be little said it is cute and well preserved and without any relevance. The air conditioning of the exhibition is very bad, on a July day it can be very hot and stuffy, so is the cold season for visiting to recommend heart / cardiovascular ridden. The parking scheme is also very poor, because it is very far away Rhöndorfer main street on a pitch with some ten Park bags and then must take a longer walk (approx. 10 minutes brisk step), which is not masterful, why not a parking space was created outside the Museum, there is space enough. When the walk is one guided past deliberately at various Cafés and taverns, so this could probably be a reason for the distant Park scheme: the local gastronomy is advertised so to say en passant. A total no jewel, just a nice Memorial, which justifies no wide arrival and can offer a fulfilling day trip. The Bonn "House the history of the Federal Republic of Germany" ten kilometres would be the rewarding target certainly, to meet the German Chancellor Adenauer. Those who are interested in the private man of Adenauer, however, is in Bad Honnef in the right place.

  • In the newly designed exhibition, seen not only the story of Konrad Adenauer, but also a historical outline of the 20th century, in particular, the early days of the Federal Republic of Germany. The visit of the private house with beautiful views and a wonderful garden completes this experience. Free admission, at least in the winter hourly guided tours of private house, otherwise by appointment.

  • It is a wonderful exhibition which brings the life of this unique people and great politician closer to one. Konrad Adenauer coined the political events of the young Federal Republic of Germany like no other. A variety of exhibits that illustrate one and illustrate a time history.
