  • Since I live in the area, I look at this impressive image all 4-5 years to over and over again. It was intended as a monument to Thomas Münzer, but the painter Werner Tübke has represented here mainly the society during the peasant wars. I personally like it again and again, but it's also huge.

  • We have stopped here in transit out of curiosity. A rotting kiosk has received us first on the parking lot and dropped coarse waste. The bored Lady at the reception only gave us to pick up the audio guide to the wardrobe and looked not time of their popular book! It would also benefit from if one time declared that it receives only during the show about the headphones! The presentation itself was instructive, because you otherwise ignorant is slain by the impressions of the huge panorama. Once and never again!

  • A "must" in the Kyffhäuser area make holiday or is otherwise close. Very well moderated discussions which take place each hour through expert Führer(innen). We have one by one with each other staff made with 2 tours (there are no pure repetition!) and this gives a very comprehensive perspective on the monumental painting. We thought not possible, that Prof. Werner Tübke so open "unsozialistisch" could present the history of the world to 1525. Since you had probably slept responsible cultural policy in East Germany or not understood the statements.

  • An ignorant go expecting, then surprised and amazed at the end and swept from the lectures and the insights into the symbolism of the motives of reformation and peasant wars and the social contexts of the time into a panoramic image. The notes on the meta-level, and the generality raised the lead to a very high level. Bravo, go forth and be amazed!

  • Very interesting. For young adults and history buffs, there is an approximately one-hour explanation of the circular image. Very much recommended.

  • The picture kills a half but if you used the image is wonderful. Seating limited possibility for many visitors. But beautiful oil paintings. The landscape out there is also beautiful and invites to the walk or immigrated. We will be back
