  • Fun to walk through and very well kept. With an hour are you get through it. Also accessible for children, provided they are of course the stairs.

  • Beautiful castle, partly renovated. Closely linked with us Royal family. Nice walk inside and out.

  • The tour in the castle was surprisingly fun. Espacialy with children. The tour is not that long. The children loved to climb the tower.  more »

  • Amazing castle, every single view is beautiful. Not a fan of the modern art prohibition in one off the buildings, doesn't fit in the full picture in my opinion.
  • Very nice castle with great views, 11th century cross and other nice items and architecture spanning hundreds of years
  • Large Medieval castle in excellent condition. - you buy a ticket and roam free, on the walls, in the tower and the Manor house itself. The house is very beautiful inside and impressive on the outside. There is nice bathrooms, and a restaurant and a art gallery. Well worth a visit- more so then Marienburg -if you are the "Exploratory" type tourist this is far better then Bückeburg and Schloss Marienburg where you are tied down to a tour guide.
  • Very nice Castle for a wedding have been me annoy many day guests only.

  • For the first time mentioned in the first half of the 11th century, is the featured Castle the seat of the counts of Bentheim and today mainly a historical work of art with interesting architectural details and elegant flair since the high middle ages.
