  • Unfortunately (or should I say fortunately) not very known to the general public. A magnificent engines museum with a very extensive and regularly changing exhibition. The history of MZ, once the largest and best engines manufacturer in the world, is here beautifully displayed. Unique instances in a unique setting.

  • It is a castle. And as such you should expect all kinds of old (or more positive: historic) stuff to look at. They have different exhibitions from time to time. It is nice to see for a couple of hours...  more »
  • Successful exhibition of a comprehensive collection of motorcycle in the historical architecture with special attention to the East German brand MZ from Zschopau, where the brand DKW motorcycles before the second world war.

  • A historical German castle with a variety of museums. Good for groups.
  • Many beautiful permanent and temporary exhibitions. You should schedule time to see all exhibitions alone. The gastronomic offer is also.

  • We were here for the 3D exhibition. It was beautiful and fun. There is also a motorcycle exhibition. Everyone should have been here.

  • The former hunting lodge of Augustus of the strong is first class. The facility itself, the views up to the Ore mountains (in good weather), several excellent museums, the castle chapel and a falconry show are the highlight. The gastronomy can taste. Kids Castle Augustusburg is highly recommended. Who is bad on foot, you can use the Castle driveway with car.

  • "You're the art" just great! Very much recommended. We had fun shooting, because the imagination is needed then is guaranteed :) and as a reminder of the fun lots of cool photos! 20 euro entry for family (2 adults. And 1 child) it's worth in any case.
