  • The market offers excellent quality, but priced high. Market halls, located in the middle of the town market, you have a variety of dining options, from different Nations, there is something for every palate. The city market in any case is worth a visit.

  • The city market, there is everything the heart desires. Fresh fish, meat, fruit and vegetables, homemade mustard and sauces. The fish soup at Feinkost Schwingenstein is recommended.

  • Market where you can eat, there are several different food, also much to buy, mostly meat, fish and vegetables. In the heart of Augsburg, non-essential if you visit the city, but one choice.

  • If I would have to pick one place to show to a friend from abroad I would bring him to Stadtmarkt - the central market of the city. It gets more and more popular but is still an authentic experience where you can enjoy Augsburg and it's inhabitants from a very typical point of view: what they eat, what they drink, how they speak & how they feel: two halls with loads of food stands serving from typical Bavarian food to everything else Europe and the rest of the world has to offer; many flower shops with fair prices; bakeries offering from cheap to super organic products; spices, meat, toys, fruits, vegetables, an espresso on the go, cakes... And if you suddenly hear a rooster singing while walking around and enjoying the stands you just heard one of the most iconic things of Augsburg: the market roster, located on the big tower in the middle of the market, crowing every full hour.
  • Gute Auswahl an frischem Fisch /gemuse / Obst.
  • Nice market you should visit, but check the opening times before you go to it.
  • Very nice and welcoming market with lots of choices and fresh goods, also from different countries. There are several bakers, and small shops which invite you to linger. If you are in the Augsburg city centre you should look here times over in any case.
