  • The There (the "Fountain of Augustus") is located in the Town Hall Square, directly opposite the main entrance of Rathaus. Built at the end of ' 500, is dedicated to the Roman Emperor Augustus, the founder of the town (founded in 15 BC). It was rebuilt in 1950 after the damage suffered during World War II, as indicated by an inscription. The fountain consists of a 2 m high statue depicting the Emperor Augustus with face serious and stern look and with the laurel wreath. At the bottom of the fountain there are 4 aquatic deities with female appearance representing the 4 rivers in the area and the 4 seasons. It is truly a beautiful Fountain, also for its historical impact.

  • Winter fountain closed shields to the Bowl does not split the ice. And in the summer the Emperor strikes young people, which sits on the warm pavement opposite the Town Hall and enjoy Bavarian beer with sausages.

  • It is a beautiful Fountain located in the square of Augsburg. Make a working visit to stroll through the city. In this square there are several cafes to taste this source.
