  • Birthday I gave the steam locomotive dinner with VIP places get. The car park is a lovers project which also a chef and entrepreneur has known sozusageb. In a Hall with two steam locomotives and several model trains, dinner are regularly hosts events for train and enjoy friends. While almost all course model railway are driven out and then served by the service forces. The staff is friendly, the food is down-to-Earth, but tasty. The full score is however not alone justified by the food. Rather, the total package of location, Museum and entertainment by the host is crucial. A great experience and a good feeling, to invest some money for a beautiful thing such as the preservation of the railway Park.

  • I'm rich after an assessment by March: we have powered train in the train compartment of the blue - very atmospheric and something completely different! Very friendly staff, the food rather good bourgeois but really good, the whole atmosphere just great! We will come again, someday!

  • The Museum is closed on Sunday from May to October. It is worth 5 euros. The Museum is dedicated to the history of the German railways. However, the most important part of the exhibition is considered a depot where exhibited three dozen used its locomotives from European countries. The Museum operates the children's railway, exhibition of model trains and the exposition of old German convoys. Still here regularly lectures on the history of the construction of the trains ...

  • Beautiful location for rail romantics. The catering has a little to be desired left left, was overwhelmed by the onslaught of the Lokalbahn round. Is sure to the 20 sites that you have visited in Augsburg must :-)

  • Ensure that the location is located in the building, must I give 100 points for the invested passion here. The restoration of the Roundhouse roof is a true dream! The combination of protected roof beams and new "lighter" roof timbers is a feast for the eyes! The various electric locomotives from the countries of Europe are worth a visit! The staff is very nice and open for answers! The events are super organized. It is also nice that the historic turntable of the turntable is ready for use again. Ticket prices are very fair. Please keep it! A must for every railway friend!

  • Everything only site! My visit was not good on the 02.08.15. I'm from Stuttgart, and the car park was recommended to me. The Roundhouse's construction site. The model railway system is also faulty, supposedly for two years for financial reasons. Even the tea was the only nice. 75% of the Interior was however blocked. Otherwise, there was nothing. Can I not recommend.
