  • Magnificent State rooms in the margravial Castle, which houses the Government of middle Franconia. A guided tour is recommended, but not necessary.

  • Very impressive building. A guided tour is worthwhile here. Also the nearby Hofgarten liked us very well.

  • My review is not for the Museum, but for the city or rather for law enforcement that they stopped me just got off the train at the station and I have meticulously checked as if I were a terrorist. To my right grievances laughing one of the policemen said that his colleague doesn't like the Italians. Really a nice hotel.

  • Visiting Middle Franconia, Ansbach is one of the must-see. The city has beautiful old houses, which form a picturesque. The city tower are lovingly restored. Pure history. The market place invites to linger with its numerous Cafés. The Residenz Ansbach, not just pretty looks, she has a large courtyard and on the roof peaks, monumental sculptures, visible. Much money was put in the last years in the renovation. Located next to the city is also the Orangery with a beautiful garden and is also worth a visit.

  • The Interior of the Residenz, accessible only by guided tour (hourly, in German only but with accompanying sheet in various languages, including Italian), has several interesting environments, including the Ballroom, large and bright with beautiful fresco on the ceiling of the Campbell and curious niche to expose the curiosity for its guests. Of note, in turn, numerous local tile-lined rooms with many different designs.

  • Worth a visit at any time. Leadership takes nice less than an hour. Reasonable ticket price. Worth also for children! Quality of actual governance is dependent on the respective will. Otherwise, ask without fear.
