  • You must get visit from foreign cities or countries to come back as a local in our Castle. And so we had young relatives from California who were extremely impressed by the leadership of the residence. And also I am excited yet again. The guided tour of the 27 State rooms of the residence is absolutely recommended. The main attractions include the double-storey hall, the Hall of mirrors and the tile room some 2800 tiles from the former Ansbacher Fayence manufactory. Here you should see the collection "Ansbacher faience and porcelain" also on the ground floor of the Castle. Our Castle guide has also repeatedly spoken in English. But guided tours only in English can be arranged.

  • Visiting Middle Franconia, Ansbach is one of the must-see. The city has beautiful old houses, which form a picturesque. The city tower are lovingly restored. Pure history. The market place invites to linger with its numerous Cafés. The Residenz Ansbach, not just pretty looks, she has a large courtyard and on the roof peaks, monumental sculptures, visible. Much money was put in the last years in the renovation. Located next to the city is also the Orangery with a beautiful garden and is also worth a visit.

  • The Interior of the Residenz, accessible only by guided tour (hourly, in German only but with accompanying sheet in various languages, including Italian), has several interesting environments, including the Ballroom, large and bright with beautiful fresco on the ceiling of the Campbell and curious niche to expose the curiosity for its guests. Of note, in turn, numerous local tile-lined rooms with many different designs.

  • Worth a visit at any time. Leadership takes nice less than an hour. Reasonable ticket price. Worth also for children! Quality of actual governance is dependent on the respective will. Otherwise, ask without fear.
