  • Very nice Museum. On the hotel grounds, children can turn a round with the miniature railway. Inside you will find a very extensive collection of Chetan toys with remarkable pieces such as from the beginning of the 20th century. A huge and very nicely designed layout on the scale of 1:87 (H0) with impressive effects (weather, day & night, etc.) brings to amaze adults and children. Of course you will find also some vehicles in 1:1, mainly of the Porsche brand. However, this is not the Hauptsegement.

  • Do you remember when you were little and the year came to an end. Parents would take their children and go after hours to look at all the Christmas decorations of the major department stores. There yo...  more »
  • We have pushed for cost reasons, always visit before us. Due to the bad weather and the opportunity to get a discount on the admission, over - kombiticket24.com - we have gathered in to us for a visit. In hindsight, I have to say the visit was every penny value. We have almost a whole day in the exhibition and in the restaurant kept. You should allow at least three laps through the House. Once an overall picture, then once the left and once the right wall side, with each of 18 minutes of animation, in the model railroad Hall. I have found a lot of toys, which I have previously dreamed or played. What is very good is that there is something for all ages, from the wooden toys corner for the little ones. A Carrera-Bahn for a driving duel between the grandson and grandfather (father or son) and the impressive Porsche collection of original vehicles. What is also not bad, the opportunity to acquire many of the models presented in the showcases. Which leads to discussions with the children. The restaurant is tastefully and comfortably furnished. The food is tasty and original set. The prices in the local, should once again to be calculated, the Café Reber could stand as a benchmark and / or the local environment. Some more advertising to the local, with the note that this place even without the visit to the Museum, can be visited, with dog. For a day at the dream factory, should a family of four, for admission, food and beverage, souvenir and models, about 100,00-€120,00 + map, calculate.

  • Very nice for kids and adults. greatplace to visit if the weather is bad!
  • State of the art digital layout. Excellent, various ways are utilized to display ex: wall mounted eyepieces that show the drivers view from the cab of 3 different trains...CGI screens showing passengers viewpoint. Projected weather on upper walls to include storms, hot air ballon, helicopter, and banner pulling plane. Too much to describe in words. Cafe, Toy display, some Porsches..huge train layout by Merklin. A+ production.
  • Absolutely successful exhibition. Porsche sports car in the EC. then the roller coaster with "Toy of the past". and finally the model railway scenery. as well as the Hamburg miniature Wonderland. Plan on at least 90-120 minutes. My favorite, the "hippie VW bus"
