  • So beautiful is the gate, the Starse or better the alley behind it is in miserable condition, dirty and unsightly. Better outside at the facade long walk to the next gate. Unfortunately not so simple, that simply block the streets and as non-citizens of the city, you must then find a way.

  • If you would like to get from the banks of the Rhine, the Konrad-Adenauer-Allee, downtown into a pedestrian zone in Andernach, you should pass the old Rhine gate for this and use the narrow street of the Rhine. The Rhine gate is part of the old built around 1200 city wall surviving in part and in a well-preserved and well-maintained condition. With this in mind, a souvenir photo at Andernach should succeed.

  • The Rhine, or cereal, gate of the old town-one of the most imposing and preservative fragments of medieval fortifications Andernaha. They overlook the Rhine, so they can be seen with a tour of the ship is not going ashore, but it's better to go through them to see the two Gothic statues in their courtyard.
