  • Built at the beginning of the 1900's, St. Ann was for the great influx of pilgrims. Still pristine in its upkeep. The church is gorgeous. Well worth a visit. Free Entry.  more »

  • Beautiful basilica to pray and meditate in.
  • The recovery of the pilgrimage at the beginning of the 20th century made it necessary to build a large pilgrimage church. So St. Anna's Church, with 83 metre of inner length, 27.5 m wide and 24 meters height was the largest church in Altöttings 1910-12. This House of God believe is capable of over 8000 people. Initiator of the building was the former guardian of St. Konrad, P. Josef Anton Keßler. Architect Johannes Schott planned to build in the style of neo-Baroque or Historicism. The Church was dedicated on October 13, 1912. 1913 Pope Pius x. She rose to the rank of a Pontifical Basilica. In the exterior and Interior the Church especially impressed by their size. It has 12 side altars and a mighty high altar.
