  • A beautiful castle! On the grounds of the castle is only a tiny souvenir shop. Strolling through the Castle, you can feel like in the old days.

  • Burg Thurant is situated high above the Moselle on the steep South-facing slope, is however good to reach the car and offers parking in close proximity to the Castle and to explore her site worth be sure: after you broke it in "medieval ways", she offers not only diverse and varied sightseeing opportunities in the well preserved (partially restored) exterior and Interior, but also grandiose (wide) views of the Moselle Valley and some villages on the banks of the river.

  • Quiet place, not so popular, but the views from up there is wonderful. If you visit Eltz Castle it is a must to visit Thurant.
  • Beautiful castle, very well maintained and friendly staff on site. With wonderful view it's a great place for a visit.
  • We accidentally noticed this castle on the hill when we stopped by a grocery shopping down the hill. It may not be as magnificent as Burg Eltz, or as much as *exploitable* as Rheinfels Castle, but it is still a descent castle which lots of expedition and also you can climb up top of the castle to have a very good view around the area.
  • Very nice. The landscape is definitely the right place for this.
  • Very beautiful little castle!!!
