  • I know the House long and quite good. Now I was there again and very perplexed - it looks messy. The medieval sculpture collection is good as ever and ever. The red walls in the 1st floor very well highlight many images. But some exhibits are missing and there is no note saying, whether in restoration or are exhibited elsewhere. Unfortunately the big postered Corot exhibition had to offer very few pictures and the room with the miracle Board objects is hardly comprehensible put together almost without explanation and also (I know not a representation of a Chamber of wonders in the chest wall were stacked high). I was disappointed.

  • Small, jewel of a museum. Exquisite collection of Medieval religious statues. Beautiful old building.  more »
  • The building acts somewhat inconspicuous from the outside, mankönnte almost past go. In the inner area, it presents itself as a historic building, whose "scarring" have been preserved. The collection of old masters and late medieval painting is very nice. You should take some time, there is much to discover. Unfortunately, there are no audio guide.

  • Had a variety of things to see, but mostly Christian artwork and artifacts. There is nothing interactive or really modern in the museum. Not for kids. Interesting architecture, some rooms look old and fancy and some are modern and plain. Definitely interesting if you are into christian art history.
  • Very interesting and one of the major museums of Aachen with many objects of art such as paintings, vases of the 12 up 18th century. by well known artists and furniture of the late 18th and early 20th century. . Many works to look at from the Ludwig Foundation.

  • The Museum has great pictures of artists of the classical modern August Macke, Lovis Corinth, Max Slevogt in the second floor. When dot is closed, it is worth for the guards to ask is whether someone with high going, because there can be found works by Karl Otto Götz and others. However, focus on the Dutch masters of the golden age such as Willem Kalff, Balthasar van der AST and Rembrandt are van Rijn. The Museum is absolutely worth a visit!

  • Great collection of very quality and versatile. Unfortunately no nice Museum Shop, only into a somewhat lonely Café.

  • The Museum is not bad. There are almost no people. But the alleged Durer and Goya are stored in storerooms exclusively for renting for exhibitions to other museums, both told employees. Don't be so.
