  • Suermondt Museum has nice paintings from the late middle ages and sculptures, many religious found and relics of international significance, very nice collections
  • The building (a kind of ' palazzo ') is impressive. Even a bit of a shame that it is not kept as it was intended as a residence. In most halls were the beautiful ceilings hidden behind a false ceiling. You're going to go, of course, for the medieval art, and that is beautiful, but I was not blown down. If you often in Aachen (like us), then it's fine as variety and something different, but there are more engaging things to see in Aachen.

  • 3 floors facing the main street. Difficult to discover, be understood and buried houses in and out without any ornament, address. Almost no spectators, the man in charge was noticeable at random. But the collection is great. Cranach, Rubens, Ribera, zurbaran and exhibited the mix of works of local artists number of Kandinsky, Munch, Kirchner, Nolde, yaw ren skiing, Dix and Beckmann, Macke, Lieberman, from the old master, Dyck, HALs,. Unique stained glass corner on the 3rd floor in, had 88 points to the real work. Do not know other museums have put the number of stained glass.

  • A beautiful Museum with interesting exhibitions. Unfortunately closes an hour before the rest of the Museum on the upper level. This was unfortunately nowhere apparent. Were pointed out then five minutes before very unfriendly. A reason was not called. Since the Museum was very nice and the other employee would friendly, I make another visit.

  • I highly recommend "" the exhibition "Beautiful than reality"-the still life of Balthasar van the AST (1593/94-1657). It's a really special exhibition from the time of "Tulip fever": really a great "eye candy" with many, intense impressions. There's also a special story a picture... I can recommend the connoisseur of Floria Benavides as Director of the Museum. It offers by the way including the leadership in all languages, in Spanish as a native speaker. Thanks to this place again for the unique, sensitive care last Wednesday.
