  • You will inevitably pass by this little place if you walk around in the old Center of Aix. Small statue articulated so that children (and adults) take pleasure in articulating their way to make the photo. Many other statues enliven the streets of Aix, very nice!

  • A real eye catcher, just enjoy the picture of this particular work of art. The limbs of various images you can move.

  • The dolls Fountain (Puppenbrunnen) you'll find in the heart of the city, and is one of the most fun fountains I know. Every time I come I stay at, especially in the summer, of course, if the water runs there, and children shake hands and wet. ... Many people make pictures here, and rightly so. How many times have I not done that myself! Personally, I'm always afraid the fountain the next time to see: how many of these works of art (this is by Bonifatius Stirnberg) are not destroyed, or stolen with ramkraken for a few dozen euros to bronze! Move the figures with the water, and today, the heart of december, I see that so not. De haan (symbol for France) stands still, the woman also market (symbol of the free city of Aachen). Also the other symbolic figures, such as the Bishop, the mannequin, the horse-wait until the spring. The Harlequin (Aachen remains finally also a Carnival City) still gives a hand to everyone, but that is more to the agility of the passing people, today mostly visitors of the Christmas markets!

  • Every time the characters are different, interesting again and again on the new. Here, the artist and the city have proved far-sighted.
