(4.2/5 based on 1,400+ reviews on the web)
A modern pedestrian thoroughfare, The Bridge of Peace hangs delicately over the Kura River and connects the old town to the modern. Designed to evoke the shape of peaceful marine mammals, the bridge provides convenient access from Rike Park to the old town. Stroll across the structure and pause in the middle to watch the river traffic passing below. In the evenings the bridge comes to life with an impressive light display made up of thousands of colored LED lights. • A must see while in Tbilisi. The best way to see it is from the bridge across it. It's also well worth a visit at night. The bridge is lit up like the Georgian flag.
  • The bridge is unusually good. It has become a hallmark of the city. A bit of a space object as would old Tiflis connects and new buildings scattered throughout the city. Be sure to ask your tour guide how many lights it lights up with the coming of darkness and in which mode they burn.

  • I love this brigde, it is unique and unlike any other. Moreover it brings something very FRESHY to city landscape. You may enjoy very nice city views both on and of the bridge.
