Named for a medieval Georgian poet, Rustaveli Avenue throbs with the life of the city and offers insight into the interaction of the old and new in Georgia.   • Not bad. Many boutiques, religious and Government buildings. Liked the interesting planted on tratuare trees, ordinary Central-flagship Street.

  • A wide Avenue, green, with small sculptures of humans, very invigorating prospect. Architecture mainly Soviet, but plenty of parks, benches, so if you are tired, walking along Rustaveli Avenue, can always relax.
