  • Avenue you missed the access of the Rustaveli initially slightly, as small and modest it all. From the secluded farm, it goes in the well-stocked, multilingual bookstore and next door is the sympathetic artist Irakli Tsualadze his gallery of sculptures. He is the creator of the sculpture of the lanterns lighter popular at Fotoknipsern. In the garden is a beautifully decorated bistro table. The artist is Anton Balanchivadze, large son of choreographer and dancer Balanchine. We had to meet him happiness, a modest, shy and talented artist! Coffee and wine are also remarkably good and quiet atmosphere makes you forget the hustle and bustle on the Avenue. At any time

  • Good coffee, cozy atmosphere. You can read, chill out and relax. The bookstore has English books, which I found it very hard to find here. The books are for sale. But ok collection, I think it can be ...  more »
  • Very good, do you notice from the street because it's in a courtyard. For a quiet coffee or light lunch, surrounded by books!

  • Great choice of books and excellent food/snack selection. The ambiance is perfect for studying or reading. (November 2017)
  • The espresso based coffee is not bad, better than usual Tbilisi standard. Nice place to read a book and informal meeting too.
  • Worth visiting for speciality coffee and a good read. Keep in mind the specialty coffee in this city is not the highest standard. I find it rather cozy too. When the weather is nice - sit out outside. It's beautiful.
  • I love this place! My home away from home for eight years! The ambience is great. Even my Georgian friends comment on how much they love it!
  • Very nice and air-conditioned cafe with basic menu. Kind staff. Perfect for relaxing and reading a book. You get free wifi. Came here 2 days later to have the same omelette I ordered first time, second time it was half the size for the same price. Service varies in speed depending on who takes your order.

Where to stay in Tbilisi

Strung out alongside the Mtkvari River, Tbilisi's historical core and bustling city center offers an array of accommodation options. Choose the fortress hill, the more northern residential districts, or a main street in the center of the action. Large international chain hotels offer luxury options, complete with fine dining, air conditioning, and more. However, you can also choose from more economical, mid-level options located around Rustaveli Avenue and Tbilisi's old town. For the lowest cost, consider one of the ubiquitous hostels.
