Where to stay in Tbilisi

Strung out alongside the Mtkvari River, Tbilisi's historical core and bustling city center offers an array of accommodation options. Choose the fortress hill, the more northern residential districts, or a main street in the center of the action. Large international chain hotels offer luxury options, complete with fine dining, air conditioning, and more. However, you can also choose from more economical, mid-level options located around Rustaveli Avenue and Tbilisi's old town. For the lowest cost, consider one of the ubiquitous hostels.

  • A little small, but contains a great collection of Georgian painters. Worth a visit!
  • I really like this place. They always have good exhibition
  • If you are keen on art especially painting and sculptures this place is a good choice to find more about georgian artist. I really enjoyed the meuseum. Thicket was cheap. And the man on the counter help us a lot. It was a pity that there were not English explanation about painting and sculptures and artists. (It was the biggest problem when we visited meuseum and historical places in georgia. )
  • Great exhibitions of famous Georgian artists, nice souvenir shop - in my humble opinion, much better, than nearby MOMA. Admission fee - 7 gel (as of Mar., 2017)
  • Great place to visit
