New Athos Cave, New Athos

Cave
New Athos Cave was known for many years simply as "bottomless pit." At approximately 1,000,000 cubic m (35,314,667 cubic ft), this cave system is a must for professional and amateur speleologists alike. The caves are made up of nine enormous chambers, each containing geological features including underground rivers and lakes, large stalactites and stalagmites, seemingly bottomless ravines, waterfalls, and oddly shaped deposits. For the protection and preservation of the cave, you'll use a railway that takes you to three stops, where you can get out and travel along walkways to take in the sights. Wear shoes with a good grip and a jacket, as it can be cold in the caves. Use our New Athos itinerary planner to arrange your visit to New Athos Cave and other attractions in New Athos.

  • The greatness and power of nature. .. huge rooms ... an interesting visit ... recommend! For tickets worth figuring out in advance. Sessions there. In season you can get only on evening excursion, having bought the ticket in the morning (this is for independent:))
