  • Worth a mark not so much for its own sake, for the sake of how many types of Lakes on the way there and on the Lakes. Alpine area, green grass, mountain view with snow caps and ushba is already quite close. Met near the Lakes. Wild or not is unclear. Darling did not close. Both sides worth found the whole day.

  • Mestia and Lake Korul'di firmly top of my impressions and memories about Georgia. It is here that opened the most epic types: green mountains with snow-capped surround the ring. In the spring and summer here lie the snowdrifts. While climbing on very hot and easy to scorch, and glaciers are pretty cool, though mixing contrasting temperatures creates such conditions, that snows can walk in shorts. Before heading to the Lakes, we interviewed several local residents. Some said that at Korul'di you can get only on foot. And it's not a lot of little 6 km along a very steep road. The truth is, very cool. But one good man suggested that if you select bypass, you can go by car, as long as it goes) from 9.5 km we drove 7 by car, on foot. In early June, still pretty much drifts and snow blockages on the road. By the end of the summer they are few, and by car you can drive on. We were on the Subaru forestere and rode until:) races took place. Doubt that there can be reached by car. If you are by car, it is better to walk.
