  • Canyon within an hour's drive from Kutaisi. Pros: notable entry (visible from the road, there are pointers), a spacious hall, there are toilets on site signs and fences. There are stands with information about Canyon. Cons: you cannot go over the fence and down to the water, and who relies on cool photos-alas. In the frame will be the iron railing and ladders. Boat trip is very short, about 15 minutes. But if you have action-type camera GoPro, then have time to shoot a small video. The main thing is that the camera was attached to the head or to the body, because the hands are busy paddle. To consider the Canyon, it is necessary to go back on the road to the shop (it's there one) and you will prompt the direction of descent. The steep path down to the river for 5 minutes and enjoy the beauties of the nafotografiruete. You can even take a dip. On the contrary see waterfalls and small old HYDROELECTRIC POWER STATION. Then walk will be saturated! Recommend as a guide with the experience of 17 years. ;-)

  • Especially in Kutaisi stayed for a couple of days to see the natural beauty of the surroundings. The first was the Canyon Martvili. Beautiful views, waterfalls, a lot of greenery, water all shades of blue-beautiful! As a mom with two young neposedami pleased fences-it is safe to walk with children. Boating-mixed impressions. Pay on 10 lari per person, while I and eldest daughter handed the oars and said "Row!" a row, watch for younger and in doing so have time to enjoy nature-my life not cooked))) so the paddle had to be postponed and give boat management the mercy of the local "Captain") and here are the kinds of around-really stunning, turquoise small waterfall bath! Overall I think the place is definitely worth a visit for lovers of natural beauty!

  • Natural beauty with lots of waterfalls inside canyon. You can enjoy boat ride
  • Beautiful emerald color water and narrow canyon make for a great day outdoors. The boat ride is nice, but too short
  • Looks like a rain forest, waterfalls are gushing in full force against the giant rocks down the canyon. The place is suitable for kids and grown ups, all will enjoy the scene and the whole adventure. If you feel like rafting, then you can onboard a rubber boat and cruise in between the two downwards of the canyon.
  • I was there couple of years ago, so many things have changed since then. The place itself if beautiful of course, but the entrance fee with the boat is around 17 Gel and the walk is very short and you only spend few min in the boat .. So was bit disappointed..
  • Recently, admission price has tripled - otherwise, great natural spot with clean waters.
