  • I am over 50, a smoker, overweight and had knee replacement last year. I wish I had looked at the reviews before I went to Okatse Canyon because I would not have gone. No doubt the scenery is beautifu...  more »
  • One can only imagine what would happen if water flowed on as much as in the spring, came to additional sound effects. Visual effects and sensations (height and vibration platforms).

  • If you only find yourself near Kutaisi, without doubt, visit this place! Waterfalls are fascinating! Examination of the Canyon with a balcony is very unusual! Be sure to visit! We were on the machines, ready to answer any questions on the route and other details of the visit.

  • Long walk to the airy path hang 50 metres above the ground. For me this airy track was too short. Also, there are different prices for locals and foregin people. However, views are nice, but i was hoping for more adrenaline rush 😊
  • Canyon is nice. But price is changing every moment. 27.09.17 for two person we paid 30gel. Its not hudge price but you spend only 10minut walking on the bridges under Canyon rest time about 2km you walk from ticket office by small forest. You could take a taxi but must pay 40gel. We drive our own by this forest. About 15min hard condition way. Only 4x4 vehicles. When is a little rainy its hard to get.
  • Very beautiful place! But you should be in a good physical form to walk through all way, or you can hire a car with driver.
  • The views are actually very nice. However, 15 GEL per person sounds overpriced. There is a 30-40 mins walk from the visitors center (where you actually are buying the tickets) to the actual viewpoint construction. Taxi drivers are waiting there and asking 20 GEL to take you back just to the main entrance (not nice!). It’s like their monopoly as we’ve seen people arriving with guides in their private cars and still they took these drivers to get in. Marshrutka’s access is not very convenient and we’ve ended up paying 30 GEL to get to Khoni (20km) - not very nice again compared to all the other fares we’ve paid in our other trips. Feels way too “touristic” attitude but don’t let it spoil the beauty. If you’d like to get there by public transport like us (and it worth it) - from Kutaisi get a marshrutka to Khoni (we had ours at 11:00). From Khoni take another marshrutka to Okatse. Marshrutka from Khoni costed 3 GEL which also felt out of proportion :) There are not too many of them; the marshrutka driver told us that the next will be only at 16:30 so you may want to take a taxi back to Khoni on your way back.
  • One of the most beautiful place in Georgia. Don't forget to swim in a nice pool inside the Canyon and also its beautiful waterfall which is a bit far from Canyon.
