  • One of the nicest places in Kutaisi. The monastery is surrounded by greenery, with the observation deck offers a view that simply captures the spirit! If you're in Kutaisi-must visit!

  • Less impressive than Gelati but set in a more aesthetically pleasing natural location, this monastery is quite charming. I don't like the newly-repainted (as opposed to restored) frescoes though...they look amateurish and, to my mind at least, fail to respect the beauty of the old medieval paintings. A pity!
  • It's a little bit hard to get there. Just take a taxi to get there. It diffidently worth it.
  • After you park, you walk toward the monastery on a nice trail. The scenery around is astonishing - definitely worth a visit! The inside of the monastery looks brand new, but beautiful nonetheless.
  • Worth to see! Small but charming place
  • Beautiful place.
