  • Batumi Holy Mother Virgin’s Nativity Cathedral was built in 1897 with financial support of well-known brothers Zubalashvilebi. The three-domed church is constructed in pseudo-gothic style. During Soviet Union regime the church was used as an archive and a high voltage laboratory. After Georgia regained his independence the building was handed to Orthodox Church. The church is constructed with special stones. It changes its colour according to the weather which gives it additional mystery.
