  • Cathedral of Christ the Holy Savior is located on your way to Botanical Garden. This is a new modern cathedral in comparison with other famous cathedrals of Georgia.
  • An interesting, small building. Mass in English on Sundays at 7 pm, there are Polish prayers. During the mass, very warm and muggy, but now it was 25 c and can withstand. 4 years ago I was at a temperature of 38 c outside and full sun. The MASSACRE! It may sound silly, but it was the worst memory of Batumi

  • The Church was built on the project of the Austrian Robert Marfel′da (Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Baku, Technological Institute in Tomsk). In the late 19th century Batumi was not Georgian town but, rather, Armenian, since Armenians were the first-largest ethnicity in the city. Not surprisingly, the Armenian Apostolic Church decided to get the Church. Inside, as usual in Armenian churches: no kicking in the eyes of luxury, subdued light. On the main photo is the Catholic Church near the bus stop, instead of the Armenian Church.
