The Water Gardens of Vaipahi, Taravao

(85 reviews on the web)
Take a pleasant stroll through The Water Gardens of Vaipahi, an immaculate public park. Spot, sniff, and photograph over 75 different species of plants that surround the water features of this well-maintained garden, which stretches just over a hectare (2.5 acres). Have a picnic at the foot of the waterfall, head to the souvenir shop to pick up a memento, and read the informational sheet to learn about the history of the park, built on the site of a "marae" (sacred temple). While you can tour the attraction in a relatively short amount to time, several hiking routes starting from here let you extend your visit. Onsite restrooms and a shelter for shade make this a convenient and comfortable place. Put The Water Gardens of Vaipahi on your schedule, and learn what else deserves a visit by using our Taravao vacation route planner.

  • On the road to the peninsula, this garden deserves an extended shutdown. It contains many endemic plants around pools and a beautiful waterfall. It is accessible to all disabled same. It's a must.

  • a beautiful garden in England with beautiful plants and beautiful sources of water, and a beautiful waterfall. It is unfortunately too short there quickly made the turn but the most are the Polynesian legends to read everywhere at the bend of a path. Nice walk, there are often young married couples who are haltent for shots. And more access to the garden is free

  • Nice walk in a perfectly maintained garden. a good season, the lotus cover a piece of water fed by a waterfall. If you have time, do not hesitate to ride in the heights on a marked trail (indispensable footwear bones). Easy parking
