  • Amazing that I have had the chance to solo with Eric rando pacific (I'm not sure society) a great backpacker but also a botanist that transforms this hike into a great discovery of the flora of the arrival at the foot of the waterfall is magical, bathe in a single basin in the middle of nowhere under a waterfall of 130 m , feels (for a moment only, alas) the Queen of the world thanks to Eric who made me spend a wonderful day to you who go to Tahiti contact it absolutely

  • A short drive from the main road up to this beautiful waterfall, just a 5 min walk from the parking area. Quite high and falls into a beautiful clear pond at the bottom, where a nice stream pours out....  more »
  • For this hike you 2 circuits: either go to the pools at the top of the waterfall, or go to the foot of the waterfall. The departure is from the parking lot (watch the portal a self-closing to 15:00 d or the interest to start hiking tot). the hike begins with a first stretch of market easy and on the plate d 30 minutes looks good. You cross gardens lush and guided by the sound of the river. Then have your left there is a bridge. If you cross that bridge the path will take you to the pools at the top of the waterfall. This path doesn't present no particular difficulty except that the climb lasts about 01 hour but the game is worth it. Small note to go to the sinks turn right once reaches the level of the fort, you will have a path sloping with 2 strings down. If you do not cross the bridge you go right the way to shrinks and you follow the river flank of rocks. I said that you have to cross 3 guets so should not be afraid to get wet, the path is more or less tag by a small pile of stones. Rando slippery and wet, but the also worth d arrive at the foot of the waterfall. In conclusion super refreshing rando, it deserves to be better reported. It is said that c is a family hike but I do not recommend it to families with children below age (age 9/10 I think c is better) predict shoe trail or market and alternative in the bag has back.
