  • All about pearls, mother of Pearl and Pearl diving. Robert Wan is the name of the Pearl, Polynesia is a major producer. His company has 3 farms of pearls in the Gambiers archipelago, and this museum is both a didactic exhibition and sale shop. The exhibition is very well done, from the Neolithic to nowadays, and presents the beads of other places, like the Japan or the Gulf of the Mexico and the use which was made by the princes, Kings and discoverers as Christophe Colomb. The principal is the Pearl of Polynesia, its fishing by divers snorkeling at 40 m, then the technical development of divers in scuba divers. Meanwhile the development of transplant... It's exciting. You learn everything about this topic. The shop is luxurious, you can buy necklaces, bracelets, earrings and pendants of sizes, colours and qualities outlined in the first part. € 100 to 230000...
