Thanks in large part to the kindness of the local people (who are not too much, of sorfte that we have never had a trade show printing special tourists) Hiti Mana, our super driver-guide-translator and photographer of relief, Isa (also masseuse Emeritus, especially with the local coconut hule) and her husband, our professional and dancers all smile and grace, our muscicien charmer-tattoo artist-comic (called "Pokémon") and the charismatic head priest also specializing in the knots of pareos evening! All the people of the village were like a family on this particular day, dealing with our two girls (aged 6 and 11) as their. We really had the feeling of being the Kings right now and this evening, and their smiles have contaminated us immediately... The meals and the animations are made with their heart, in the image of their culture and their mentality. The village is typical, but becomes even magical at night. The photo session the feet in the water on the beach of the village are a memory etched forever in our memories to all 4. We were swept away in the heart of Polynesia, its origins and its culture, and we came back richer in knowledge. Discovery of its history, gastronomy, artists, local know-how, the Polynesian and other beaded jewelry and crafts. We became Polynesians of heart. Thanks again and see you soon. Is then made the rounds of small buildings that make up the village and shows the small workshop where they are homemade costumes. There is also a selling point, where he discusses the growing systems and treatment. Local buffet dinner is served in a room open under a canopy; is varied and well cooked, better than those normally offered on the occasion of shows of this kind. After dinner we go to arena with the backdrop of the sea, where the seats are not very comfortable. The show with music, songs and dances has a choreography well made, of a lively and effective play of light; a special mention for the skilled dancers with fire. The evening is divided into various stages and finishes joyfully with the involvement of the public. The high overall quality of entertainment makes it extremely enjoyable evening that lasts about three hours.show original
Tiki Village is a must-see for your time on Moorea. While the initial arrival seems awkward (older building, through a gift shop), don't let that deter you from the great time you are about to have. It is an amazing experience from pre-dinner to post-dinner shows. The dinner is honestly average at best, but I personally didn't go there for the food. It's good food, but the show and ambiance are what makes this place awesome. The performers are excited, energetic and want to be there (I have seen other Polynesian shows where the performers just "mail it in" and go through the motions). Beautiful singing, excellent music and choreography.
