  • We spent a wonderful evening at the Tiki Village. The tour is interesting, and helps to understand different aspects of Polynesian culture, as well as to see the traditional oven. Dinner is amazing! There are 20 dishes wrinkling and 10 hot at least, and all food is delicious! The show is great! Viewers also learn the basics of traditional dance, which is very funny. The price of the evening seems high but is actually low for what is offered. Do not miss to Moorea.

  • The Polynesian show was very good. The dinner buffet was delicious. We had a wonderful night and lots of memories at it.
  • Very fun experience! Show was great! Village tour was fun. Food was good. Heads up, be prepared to pay for any additional food and drinks in cash even though credit is accepted as entrance it is not for food.
  • Tiki Village is a must-see for your time on Moorea. While the initial arrival seems awkward (older building, through a gift shop), don't let that deter you from the great time you are about to have. It is an amazing experience from pre-dinner to post-dinner shows. The dinner is honestly average at best, but I personally didn't go there for the food. It's good food, but the show and ambiance are what makes this place awesome. The performers are excited, energetic and want to be there (I have seen other Polynesian shows where the performers just "mail it in" and go through the motions). Beautiful singing, excellent music and choreography.
  • Cool
  • Very nice people working there. The village is small enough. Activities booking. If you do not want to do business, go your way

Where to stay in Moorea

On Mo'orea, even the budget accommodations enjoy prime beachfront locations on beautiful turquoise lagoons. Camping is the most affordable option, mainly concentrated in the northwest of the island. Family-run pensions (boarding houses) can also offer great, no-frills, budget-friendly lodging--although finding contact details and booking can take a little effort. The biggest draw on Mo'orea, however, remain the luxury beach resorts and overwater bungalows on the lagoons, mostly strung across the island's northern edge. Prices for these start in the mid range, but climb quickly into the high end for the most lavish options.
