  • Tour already made with our friend Leon a few years ago. We had so much enjoyed this visit to the reefs that we booked even before our arrival on the island. Crossings of the lagoon somewhat sporty depending on the weather, but on arrival: it is so beautiful that I have no word to describe. After a docking in a scenery of postcard (of extraordinary colours), walk in the middle of coconut trees with always the same huge crabs, watching us. Then descent of a passage with mask and snorkel by letting himself be carried by the current. Magic. Tasting of coconut. We continue to be on the outside edge of the atoll on the ocean side, and there... it's another world: lava reefs tortured by elements with pots of turquoise water that invites us once again to swim us or dive for the bravest . Once refreshed, we cross to Ford a mini going on with its strong current (impressive but safe) to Leon who has prepared a welcome drink (after all the salt water I drank, I'm glad to juice) accompanied with Polynesian songs several times in the day (with guitar and yukele) and a delicious meal of grilled fish, and his excellent cake coconut which he jealously guard the secret. China is in the middle of the baby sharks, a great moment of laughter for us and fear for those who do not know! Safe, but I leave the discovery to the next... Finally, each braid her little purse or hat in coconut leaves under the supervision of our omnipresent Leon. Memories that will go to the four corners of the world. Back, surprise! Leon called the dolphins in the Tiputa pass! and the dolphins are on time and we offer a festival of more impressive jumps than the other. They are tireless... But Leon has kept us a last magic trick... the visit of the aquarium! Small island in the lagoon facing tiputa pass. Once in the water, we understand why the name "aquarium", it's the first time in my life that I have to push the fish with my hands to be able to swim. Amazing! After such an output, one long dream of the surprises of Leon, of his songs, his music, his kindness and his passion to us to discover his island. A great gentleman, thank you Leon A missed under any circumstances.
