  • Amazing experience walking through WWI trenches, the forest and monuments in the Voges mountains. Excellent information in English.

  • This is a military cemetery, monument and, if you got further up the hill past the cemetery, actual French and German Trenches. You get to walk the trenches and see some of the still present bullet...

  • Even for uninterested it is a reminder of what happened there. The museum close to cemetery is good as well. Nice hike over the battlefield

  • Nice place. Truly great historical learning site.
  • Very impressive
  • Awesome experience full of history to go explore with the family and wonderful sight to see the great valley below.
  • WHAT A FABULOUS PLACE OF BEAUTY AND TRAGEDY. THE WALKS ARE EXTENSIVE AND THE VIEWS FROM CLEARINGS STUPENDOUS. DIDN'T EXPECT QUITE SO MANY TRENCHES AND ARTEFACTS STILL INTACT AND IT WAS QUITE AN EMOTIONAL EXPERIENCE TO IMAGINE THE SUFFERING THAT THESE POOR PEOPLE ENDURED. WE SPENT 3 HOURS STROLLING AND COULD HAVE SPENT DOUBLE THAT TIME. THE CEMETERY IS A LOVELY TRIBUTE AND BEAUTIFULLY LAID OUT.
  • The hartmannswillerkopf is an historical location where you can find some remains of the first world war (certain spots have been refurbished). It's also a great location to have a walk and enjoy the nature. There is a museum and a cimetery nearby. Definitely a Beautiful location.
