  • Saw a huge fortress from the Palace of the Popes Hill, so I went on foot, hiking. Rely on the Avignon Passion delivered with the tourism map, you will be about 1 hour from the Centre of Avignon. It is a fortress and stroll around the peaceful city of villenuverezavignon climb up the Hill. Entrance city of Avignon looks good. Happy in the hotel itself, as a result, didn't get during the evaluation is normal.

  • After a visit to the Charterhouse, should be up by the small winding streets and earn the magnificent view one has walls of the Fort Saint André. The walk in the fort is very well organized and allows you to get a good idea of life in the middle ages during the sieges. The view on the Mont Ventoux in the distance the weather is very photogenic.

  • It's a good place to walk around the Avinon. You can see the view of the city as well.
  • Atmospheric fortress overlooking the city of Avignon. Could do with better interpretive materials to help explore but still a worthwhile visit. The paths are mainly unpaved so wear decent walking shoes.
  • The Fort is a nice visit; I prefer it to the Abbey.
  • The castle is also see better from the outside than from the inside. We have not visited the Abbey located in the course. But otherwise, the castle is only interest in my view, the landscape. It dominates the entire Valley and it's really a nice panorama. Pity about the lack of info.
