Les Sources de Vichy, Vichy
(3.5/5 based on 280+ reviews on the web)
Les Sources de Vichy are hot springs and spa waters that are renowned for their health benefits. The springs that feed Vichy have a large amount of dissolved minerals creating naturally effervescent carbonated water. Historic accounts by the Romans since before 50 BCE recount the health benefits of bathing and drinking in the hot springs. Different hot springs have different temperatures: Chomel is at 41 C (105.8 F), The Grande Grille at 40 C (104 F), Hôpital at 33 C (91.4 F), the Célestins spring at 21.5 C (70.7 F), and the Source du Parc and the Source de Lucas are at 24 C (75.2 F) . All six are contained in the Hall des Sources built of metal and glass located in the Parc des Sources. For travelers who use our international travel planner, Vichy holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Les Sources de Vichy and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.
