  • The textile museum is located in the Vosges mountains, just off the normal route. There is a guide and the old machines are run. Very understandable explains how a substance is produced and the yarn according to the pattern is woven. Interesting also for schoolchildren. The Museum is worth a visit! Immerse in the old craft, the farmers made earlier on their farms. Small shop with beautiful textiles, also if you are looking for a small gift. The Museum with the friendly staff is highly recommended!

  • We fell into this museum completely by chance and it was a great discovery! Over 4 floors, it tells you all of the cotton until it arrived in wire processing. Put in context of the time, various machines which some set out or used by the guide in order to explain its functioning. A very rich and playful Museum.

  • A museum exhibiting a very nice overview of an industry that has so marked the Hautes Vosges Valley. Parts presented are live and speak for themselves. Most are actionables and actionees by a team of staff and volunteers passionate. Can touch the materials, understand the processes, imagine the life of the workers of the time. The Museum has much evolved since its inception and offers a very entertaining, both technical, historical and anthropological. A big thank you to Marie has not has her time to visit even more interactive.
