Listed as a historical monument and a Remarkable Garden of France, Le Bois de Moutiers is well known for its beautiful rhododendrons, azaleas, and magnolias, which were introduced and naturalized among local flora. The house and gardens you will explore, both dating from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, are first-class examples of the work from the famous English partnership of architect Edwin Lutyens and garden designer Gertrude Jekyll.

You will find a large park overlooking the sea and formal gardens surrounding a manor house, where the original owner's descendants still live, come together to create Le Bois de Moutiers. This beautiful park is to visit in all seasons but especially in the spring for azaleas and rhododendrons, and later for hydrangeas... but also especially for the Park and the trees... beautiful!

Visiting family and beautiful discovery. The Park is beautiful and relaxing. The course must be gorgeous in bloom of magnolias and other rhododendrons (April-June). The House is also to visit (about 45 minutes). Lovely time

What a magnificent place, so intensely beautiful and in today's hectic world the perfect way to reconnect with nature. The welcome is delightful from the owners and staff. The house is incredible and fits beautifully into the surrounds. I will definitely be back soon!

Le Bois des Moutiers was simply the highlight of our stay in Normandy! The most stunning garden we've ever seen and everyone was extremely friendly and genuinely passionate about what they do! We honestly can't wait to visit again! -Joanna and Dylan

Wonderful place, absolutely unique. This very romantic place is a "must see" if you ever travel in the region of Dieppe. The owners are very kind and helpful.

Never mind Monet and the famous cliff-side church (albeit stunning in their own right). The jewel in the crown of the beautiful Normandy village of Varengeville-sur-Mer has to be the magical "Bois des Moutiers" park, where wondrous trees & shrubs of all sizes and shapes seemingly blend into the surrounding seascape and sky. One almost expects fairies and elves to pop out of under the greenery except that in reality it is the warm welcome of the owners that makes the whole experience so exceptional. An absolute must for children and adults who secretly wish that Never Neverland really exists...
