  • We visited the Museum with my 8 year old son the first Sunday of March. Indeed, admission is free the first Sunday of each month; great initiative. The Museum is located in a building of 5 floors mix of historic and modern renovation. On local archaeology and art collections are very diverse and include some very nice pieces. On the top floor, beautiful view on the Rhone River and its Valley. To visit if you are in Valencia.

  • The collection is not uninteresting. .. very nice mosaics of the sculptures of the middle age and even from ancient times that challenge. Less convinced by the contemporary period with the exception of a few paintings of the modern period and space dedicated to Lhote Boncompain etc. But in itself the place is beautiful. the clever restoration and get out on the terrace the view on the Rhone the nearby Cathedral. ..

  • Many archaeological finds from the region that mix with works of all styles. An interesting visit with an attractive price (€ 5 per person and free for 18 years.). Pity that it is sometimes difficult to navigate with some problems of signage. Big downside on the stuffed animals who have much lived and where the teddy bear and toys for children that have nothing to do here... Big crush for the belvedere with a magnificent view over Valencia and on the Ardèche. (Don't be shocked to be monitored closely if you come with children, the "security guards" take their work a little too seriously...)
